Meet the Staff

Tennis Instructor:  

This will be Sydney's fifth year working as a tennis instructor for Chanhassen tennis! She played JV tennis for Eden Prairie High School and Division III softball at St. Olaf College where she graduated with an EL teaching license. Sydney graduated with her Master's of Literacy from Hamline University where she studied for a Reading teaching license. Sydney is kind, motivated, loves dogs and tennis! Sydney coached girls' Middle School tennis in Shakopee where she has also taught ELD for 10 years. Sydney loves working with kids and enjoys seeing their growth. In the summer of 2023, she married Chris, an avid road biker and skier (to her dad's sadness he's never picked up a tennis racket - yet!). She and Chris have a son named Callahan, who was born in 2025; Sydney took last summer off to stay home and be with him. She is ready for another fun summer!
