Meet the Staff

Program Director/Head Instructor:  

Jim is a USPTA certified tennis teaching professional and the head coach of both the boys and girls tennis teams at Chanhassen High School. This upcoming season will mark Jim’s 20th season as the boys head coach and his 16th season as the girl's head coach. This will also be his 19th year running a summer tennis program in the Chaska/Chanhassen area. He attended Mankato State University and received his Master’s degree in Education from the University of Minnesota. During the indoor tennis season, he puts his USPTA certification to work as a tennis professional at the Williston Fitness Center and teaches numerous Community Education classes to children. Jim loves working with tennis enthusiasts of all ages and enjoys giving back to the sport that has given him so much joy throughout his life.
