Meet the Staff

Program Director/Head Instructor:  

Jim is a USPTA certified tennis teaching professional and the head coach of both the boys and girls tennis teams at Chanhassen High School. This upcoming summer will mark Jim's 21st summer offering tennis classes. Jim has been a Varsity boy's Tennis Coach for 21 seasons and a Varsity Girl's Tennis coach for 16 seasons in the Eastern Carver County School System.  He attended Mankato State University and received his Master’s degree in Education from the University of Minnesota. During the indoor tennis season, he puts his USPTA certification to work as a tennis professional at the Williston Fitness Center. Jim loves working with tennis enthusiasts of all ages and enjoys giving back to the sport that has given him so much joy throughout his life. He encourages you to try one of his classes and find out why he has nearly 700 satisfied and loyal participants each year!
