Advanced High School Drill and Match Play

Advanced High School Drill and Match Play Ages 12-18 - Location - Pioneer Ridge Middle School

In general the person for this class has played on a Varsity team in 2022 or the upper level of the JV team AND has a desire to play on the Varsity team in 2023! Each class will consist of developing all the tennis strokes, conditioning, and singles/doubles strategy through both instructor-fed and live-ball drills to further develop the skills which are needed to play on a high school Varsity tennis team. This also includes weekly match play from 1-3 pm on Wednesdays. 

Match Play -  Match play opportunities will consist of Wednesday afternoons (home or away matches) from 1-3 pm against other players of similar ability from tennis programs in the western metro area. Transportation to the away matches is not provided but typically arrangements can be made to help with transportation if needed. Matches run from approximately June 14 – July 26 (No match on July 5th). There are no rain out days for the match play event.

To make the class more schedule friendly you may come to any 8 or 11 classes which run on Tuesdays and Thursdays AND ALL THE MATCH DAYS!

Tuesdays and Thursdays - June 13 - July 25. 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.

No class on July 4 and 6

Rainout days are July 27 and August 1
